Dan's journey in the pool industry began as an entrepreneur in Connecticut, where he started a pool cleaning business. His passion for pools led him to expand into pool renovation and eventually, building custom pools. With hands-on experience in all aspects of pool construction and maintenance, Dan developed a deep understanding of the industry.
After selling his successful business, Dan joined Pool Corp, the world's largest distributor of pool equipment, as a business development representative. This role further honed his knowledge and expertise.
Upon relocating to Florida, Dan consulted with customers on pool renovation and design services for both residential and commercial clients. Working to revitalize aging pools and building their dream backyard oasis. It was here that he and Todd saw the need for assisting future homeowners with a swimming pool consulting company.
Dan currently resides in Sarasota, bringing his extensive experience and passion for pools to future homeowners.

After 35 years of public education in NYS, Todd and his wife, Sherry, moved to Florida, experiencing what many homebuyers experience - a pool that needed major repairs and renovations. After learning many difficult lessons, Todd decided to work for a pool renovation company.
After reviewing several hundreds of pools, patios and equipment in the southwest Florida region, Todd came to the conclusion that there is a need for an objective voice when it comes to evaluating and recommending pool repairs.
This common theme heard from many other pool renovation customers drove the birth of Suncoast Pool Consultants, where Todd and Dan came together to provide unbiased pool consultative expertise at an affordable price to others.
